Notice to Installer and Home Owner for
Copper Kitchen Sinks
All de la Frontera copper kitchen sinks are water tested to
insure no leaks and proper drainage prior to shipment. It is
entirely possible that the floor of the sink can be bowed
slightly out of shape during shipping and handling. It is
imperative that the floor is convex to the drain and is the
responsibility of the plumber/installer to confirm this
condition . It is simple to “pop” the floor back into place, if
damage has occurred, by simply pulling upward on the drain hole
while the sink is turned upside down. Please wear gloves and be
careful as the drain opening can have sharp edges. If there are

Cleaning and Care of Copper Sinks & Vessels
Basic cleaning of de la Frontera copper sinks and vessels should
be carried out with mild soap and water applied with a clean,
soft cloth. Harsh chemical cleaners and abrasives should be
avoided at all times, removal of excess water with a soft cloth
after heavy usage is always recommended. All copper will patina
gradually over time and this process is what gives copper its
unique characteristics and living quality. Although acidic
materials may affect the finish dramatically, the copper piece
should regain its’ patina over time.
Cleaning and Care of Stone Sinks & Vessels
Basic cleaning of all de la Frontera stone sinks and vessels
should be carried out with mild soap and water applied with a
clean, soft cloth. Harsh chemical cleaners and abrasives should
be avoided at all times, removal of excess water with a soft
cloth after heavy usage is always recommended. All stone
products should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer prior
to use, avoid the use of acetones on any sealed stone product.
Cleaning and Care of Wood Vessels
Basic cleaning of all de la Frontera wood vessels should be
carried out with mild soap and water applied with a clean, soft
cloth. Harsh chemical cleaners and abrasives should be avoided
at all times, removal of excess water with a soft cloth after
heavy usage is always recommended. Wax based furniture polish
may be applied to help protect and restore any lost luster in
your wood vessel.

clean, soft cloth. Harsh chemical cleaners and abrasives should
